Who are we?

Nature Walkers @ the Meadow is a Nature & Play - Based recreational program for ages 2.5 - 7 years old. With Nature Walkers, children are encouraged to explore the world and allow their curiosity to entice them to try new things.
Exploration helps our children build strong neural connections that will impact their decisions throughout their life. Children walk, run and explore through nature based activities encouraging them to take control of their health.
*Age depends on maturity and current availability. All kiddos must be potty trained
What we do?

Learning through play & nature does not mean unintentional roaming. Everything we do with our children has purpose. We are nurturing the young minds and bodies that will inherit our planet so, shouldn’t they get the chance to love it first?
Yes, our children learn, numbers, colors and shapes but they learn other life skills like compassion, love of self/ others, respect and so much more. While learning these things, our children enhance their physical activity skills through walking and running through nature. At the end of each season, our children showcase their skills to our parents.
Where do we learn?

Nature Walkers are outdoors!
We teach children to use their world for play, learning and physical activity as we cheer them on to let their imaginations run wild.
When do we learn?

Our group currently meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30am - 12:30pm.
At Nature Walkers, we believe there is no bad weather but only bad attire so we operate through all seasons. We encourage children to play, learn, walk and run through all of God’s weather. Of course safety is our first priority and we will not operate in unsafe weather.
Why are we?

Today’s children are confined to classrooms with little opportunity to explore or draw their own conclusions about their lives. Our children have lost their connection with nature and physical activity and thus loss their connection to so much more.
We are determined to restore this lost connection with our children because we believe connection to Nature and physical activity is a connection to self.
How do we educate?

We are a Conscious Discipline program. Our leaders not only educate through nature and activity but through the comprehension of emotions and thoughts. Our leaders educate our children on vocalizing what they see, feel and want so that they may grow and achieve their desires.
We believe parents play a big part of their children’s success. Because of this, each family is required to volunteer one class a month as an assistant Leader. This allows parents to stay an active part of our Nature Walkers community.
How much of an investment?

With Nature Walkers, we know that ensuring your child is setup for success is every parents mission.
We also understand the importance of affordable high quality programs for every child. We currently offer 2- day a week, half - day (9:30am-12:30pm) care for an affordable rate of $250/ month.
